Due Week 10

Homework:
  • All 24 frames of the color scripts printed on one sheet, using the layout given in the handout.
  • 1 finished key scene in color
  • 3 more tight line drawings of key scenes
  • Pick 1 out of 3 drawings, develop into a half-size rough (either in color or greyscale, your choice).

Guest Speaker: Nathan Fowkes @ 10:30 am
Nathan Fowkes will do a lecture on colorscript and do a crit of your work. Color scripts need to be put up on a separate wall from you other homeworks.

Due Week 8

2 finished characters in color
4 more color scripts

4 pictures of sky light/horizon light
  • sky light - when the sun is not in the sky (before sunrise or after sunset)
  • horizon light - when the sun is on/close to the horizon
  • "noon" light - when the sun is at it's highest point (about 2-3 pm)
  • overcast light - when the sun is out, but obscured by fog/clouds. The soonest semi-cloudy day predicted is next Wed. Hopefully you already have a picture.
1 painting of either horizon or sky light. Remember that the 2 paintings together has to have a narrative.
